Over the past decade, I have been repeatedly exposed to the word “Compassion” and have had the privilege to participate in several activities centered around compassion. This is what prompted me to create this initiative – Conversations on Compassion: a platform where many can come together on this journey of exploring this concept further.
I hope you too will join this conversation on the role of compassion in shaping the well-being of fellow human beings and ourselves. Together we can nurture more caring and compassionate citizens of the world!

This above experience has paved the way for the creation of Conversations on Compassion, through which Pathma is eager to share all this learning and experience, with other institutions. Over the last few months, she has been enthusiastically supporting the work of the Education Sector, Charter for Compassion, India, and is hoping to encourage many more institutions to align with this Compassionate Movement.
Her heart lies in helping to inspire many more to continue developing into Caring & Compassionate Global Citizens, who recognize the importance of the ‘Education of the Heart,’ and its tremendous potential to truly impact our Collective Consciousness.
Conversation #1: The Value of Compassion
As an initial conversation I would like to share with you Albert Einstein’s thoughts on compassion. He writes, “A human being is a part of the whole called by us Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
I am certain that this resonates with you as much as it does with me…
I look forward to connecting with you!
Together we can nurture more caring and compassionate citizens of the world!
